Ripe (shu) Puer, Pressed in Dec 2019, blended from material piled in 2016 & 2017
Yunnan Province, China
Smooth, Clean Body, Malty Sweetness
This is a great intro to puer teas that hits home with lots of coffee fans because of it's dark colour, heavy body, and balance of dark fruit/wood/spice/chocolate notes. It can take long, hot steeps without becoming rough like many young, raw (sheng) puers. Incredible value for money, this is one of the best puers to buy for a beginner!
